Introduce children to classic Barcelona architecture with this class pack! In this project, they’ll meet Antoni Gaudí, a talented Spanish architect with a style all his own. He designed numerous structures in Barcelona in the late 1800s and early 1900s, eventually becoming known as the master of Catalan Modernism. As the kids create, they’ll learn all about Gaudí’s life, his colorful artistic style, and some of his most famous buildings.

This pack contains all of the supplies you’ll need in order for 10 or more children to complete this mosaic project once. Each child will get a chance to make two mosaics in the style of Gaudí: a salamander and a sun, using gems, sequins, and mosaic paper squares. To give you a head start on prepping the lesson, a reproducible PDF tutorial will be emailed to you before the art box ships.
